They wont fit them :-(

I've been told a day before delivery of my Tuono which was MEANT to have the R&G crash protectors (Top ones) fitted that the guy's in the work shop wont fit them because they have to cut a bit of the fairing to make them fit and they have had the fairing crack in the past and have hat to replace it.:bawling

Anybody else come across this problem?

Don't really feel like hacking away at a brand new bike in order to do this...Please help:rolleyes

Will those crash bungs fit on an 08 Factory? Been quoted Â£180 to supply and fit R&G bungs by my local Aprilia dealer. :crazy

Don't see why not - try contacting them - at Â£35 they are cheap enough!

I have OEM crash bungs fitted to the top cylinder mount. No cutting needed. Easy to fit.

Thanks for the replies guy's..

R&G are ecellent crash protectors but if it means buggering around trying to cut the fairing to fit them then it looks like I will be putting them on e-Bay at no doubt a loss and getting some of the above mentioned..

They wont fit them :-(
