The value of extras

Hi all,

Blasphemy I know, so cover your eyes, but I am thinking of moving my 2010 1000r in white to a new home but i have a question over what it is actually worth in the real world.
It has Puig screen, R&G all around, Akra cans and a whole load of well chosen carbon extras (all put on by the previous owner). It's got 16k on the clock.

Does anyone actually care about all the bits and bobs or is the price of a gen 2 the price of a gen 2 whatever it comes with?

Thanks in advance,

You'll get a few quid more with the extras on, but no where near what they are worth. I always take them off, flog them on flebay and make a few extra quid. Have a look on bike trader and get an idea of prices.

it depends on who is buying the bike, some people are put off by mod's/none factory parts, others want them. If you find the right person then the bike is worth more, if not its just standard price. I would go with Grin Factors advice and sell them separately

Thanks for the advice. I have put the bike up on bike trader complete mainly to save the hassle of the split.
