mornin all. my names rybes and altho i live in denmark I'm really English. I've been looking at buying myself a rsv1000r now for a few weeks and have came across this forum. I've been reading through and like what i see so i thought id join to get help in choosing the bike i want. i have found one but somthing seems a bit off. apparently the ohlins forks have been removed because they were damaged and have been replaced with standard forks. makes me scratch me chin and wonder why ? May be someone over tightened the pinch bolts and cracked them then they found out how much to repair and it was cheaper to fit std mille forks...what ever it would cost 4-700 pounds to refit ohlins so use it as a bargaining point on price

Looks clean ...but 2002? With a 98-00 body kit on it with a late 01-03 nosecone ,black frame and swinger that didn't appear till 2003 and non-standard paint work some one has had it apart alright....plus points oz,akra system,ohlins rear......

thats what i was thinking with the forks red but ill give it a good look over to be sure. as for using that as a bargaining price not to sure if it'll happen as I've been told its cheap already. prices of bikes here in denmark is ridiculous. 180% tax on motor vehicles here :O that bike is around 6 grand, yes i know

but I've seen similar ones sell for over 10k yes really. i think with what you've said ill give it a good join over then come back here with any questions i might have.

thats nuffin mate. theres one here for sale at the moment with very little miles on it goin for 16 grand. its a 2002 model
