To all you fair weather riders:jack, here are 3 of the famous armchair 6, out on their bikes,me included,an it just goes to show how good the fleeces are, so all you chumps with or without fleeces,get your arses out there an ride!

Hi,

I am just about to join the Aprilia family for the very first time with an 2002 RSV 1000 Mille.

Please can you advise on what I should expect, how to keep the bike, any known faults etc?

Hi Ben,If new to Rsv,turn the ignition on,wait for EFI check,dont throtle)press the starter button.If you touch the throttle the motor will stall,or worse,long term can wreck your sprag clutch.Oil,use 15/50 semi synthetic.Always allow the EFI,to do it's diagnostic check upon turning the ignition on.Spark plugs,the forward cylinder's frontplug is a p!g to get out ,just take your time.
