Need to replace my swingarm. Everything undone but the rear downpipe is stopping me from getting it out.

Do I have to take the downpipe off, if so what is the easiest way.

thanks

you could leave it on but the collector will have to come off.

I have taken the collector off but there does not seem to be enough room between the downpipe and lower part of the frame.

I'd say that's your answer then, down pipe off, it's only 3 nuts so in the grand scheme of things isn't much more stripping.

I thought that may be the case. Why are things not simple anymore!!!! - when I had a look yesterday it looks like I will have to take the undertray off to get to at least one of the studs.

Will have to have a proper look, I can't believe its this much hassle.

Give me an RD400 and a Cortina any day!!!!

Buddy, whip the shock off............takes 10 mins and save a WORLD of grief..............access to the 3 studs is a piece of piss then......TRUST ME!!!!!
