Tail tidy

Over the week end I fitted the Evotech tail tidy. For those asking questions as to which one I can advise the fit is very good. It is strong and very compact. The plus side is that it takes the standard indicators. Negative side is that your standard full sized number plate will then no longer fit well. As it will then require a smaller plate, probably 8x6 otherwise the old legal 9x7 plate will rub against the indicators. Fitting instructions have to be downloaded from the web site, however they could do with some improvement, but overall not a big issue. Rgds !

Thanks for the info Springermad. I have just picked my bike up and was looking to get a tail tidy. You've answered my questions without me even having to ask.

I fitted an R and G one, fits well and if I remember it does mention your tyre can touch the plate if it's full size

I will take a photograph of the fitted tail tidy. Just to add many others will not take the standard indicators but require new micro items. This can be confirmed by viewing the designs available. The standard indicators need a main hole with accepts the bayonet fixing of the indicator stem, supported by an additional screw fixing through an additional screw. You can see this on the Evotech tail tidy pictures on their web site. Kind Regards Just now need to order a new smaller - (illegal) license plate.
