I checked my fluid level a while ago and found the level to be low, so I topped it up and made a mental note to check it periodically. I had a check for signs of a leak but found none. I called into the local(ish) Aprilia dealer and mentioned it to him. He said it could have been caused by moisture/condensation evaporating out of the fluid causing the level to drop. Don't know how true this is but the level has stayed fairly static since the top up. Don't know if anyone else has heard of this??

Could be the seal in the slave cylinder. They are notorious for failing.Any signs of fluid anywhere?
Replacement seals are around £12 from your dealer.

Had the same problem with mine last yr, no sign of any fluid anywhere. Gave it a good bleed and it was fine. No idea what caused it.
