Just wondering what oil weights u guys are running. It's about 50 degrees here and I wanted to get a good weight for cranking over my beast for the first time in three years.

Alright buddy, I've just got mine back together for the first time in over 2 years! I've a 99' mille. In my experience synthetic causes clutch to slip, stick with semi-synthetic. When you say 50 degrees I take it thats, obviously, not celsius. I'd be getting some 5w/30 or failing that olive oil:biggrin

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the info. I hope I have as much luck with it turning over as you did. I had to replace a radiator on it and have the shift rod replaced in the transmission. Now I just need to reconnect the oil cooler and find the key lol.

10W-40 semi-synthetic for winter

15W50 semi-synthetic for all other

for the most part, full synthetic is not recommended for....whatever reason.
