My boot thats scuffing.

You could always try the foor rests longer than normal that were put on the earlier bikes.

Have a look in my garage.

ps i think your chain needs lubing lol

Yes search AF1 you can get them and they are Aprilia parts !

Wouldn't worry too much about the rubbing mate, be more concerned that the chain is gonna let go with all that rust. LOL

I have small feet and found that my heels scratched the left side of the swing arm, so I fitted this:

Thanks.
I got somthing thats supposed to be the same as whats in your picture from Rawtech http://www.raw-carbon.co.uk/a019.htm. Will wait and see.

My chain is well oiled in the middle (my scottoiler takes care of that) it just doesnt oil the very outside of the chain links.

I think Russ at RawTech might view this forum.
It could just be me being paranoid :coocoo

Oh, Youve all shamed me into putting some oil on the outside of my chain :pirate

I can't complain all my carbon bits from Russ have been good quality. :thumbup

Shame it all went so wrong recently.

Glad you oiled that chain mate, I'll sleep soundly tonight. :devious

I noticed scuffing on my right hand side of the swinging arm whilst cleaning mine that i didn't remember seeing when i bought her, now i know where they have come from, i will have to get some covers as well.

This bike is eating all my spare cash, but i don't care as the buzz it gives is the ultimate......

Well my stuff arrived from RawTech today and i cant pick fault with it :thumbup
A set of black ears and swing arm protectors for my 01 Mille.
No marks,blemishes or fisheyes.
Never had someone make so sure my order was correct, so :thumbup to customer service.

Well ive already worn through the chain side swingarm protector :angry
So they dont look like the solution to my problem. :rant

I wasnt out on the bike and was at a loose end this weekend and was pondering making some extended heel plates as a more long term and better solution to prevent damage to my swingarm.

So heres what i came up with.........

Now is there someone who can do something similar to these but more proffesional and better looking :dunno

Nice job ranger - if you extended those a couple of inches you could hang a set of Givi boxes on them:nana
