I emailed a local dealer today asking how mug to set my suspension up properl for me. All they asked was what bike I had and emailed back saying I would most likely need new springs etc !!!! How do they work that out !! I just want what I have adjusting

have you got the standard ****** rear shocker on ? if so that may be what they meant by "new springs "

typical dealer money first fk thinking

Usually it`s screw right in and then one full turn out. (Factory settings any bike ?)

The more turns out make it softer

You need a mate to measure when you sit on the bike.

Loads of 'how to's' on the 'net.Dead easy to do,all you need is a mate, tape measure and mebbe some tape to marka referance point on the bodywork.
First job is get rid of that pos standard Sach shock.:yes

sadly funds currently dont run to new shock so will have to do the best i can with standard one. At 15 stone i guess it will be a case of winding it right up.

Go see Griff.
Second that.

He knows his stuff (has a history of being asked by several superbike teams to help with setting up their suzzy) and will offer advice on better parts at an affordable price or will set the stock up to work properly if funds are tight. Set up the stock stuff on my RSVR last year, felt so much better, well for the one ride I had on it before I sold it!

He's in Spain testing at the moment, back on Thursday I think, but you can always talk to Sharon at the office.

Pikey, did you not grab that RSVR shock I showed you I on ebay? I think it went for about £20!!

If I'd have known I'd have bought it meself and flogged it on

yes mate

Still a Sachs but more adjustment and better spec. It's a real cheap model fitted to the Tuono R

The RSVR shock is a decent option if you're on a tight budget
