Suspension linkage plates

Are these plates the same for the whole range or did they change from 04 onwards and is there any difference between Mille and Tuono linkage plates.

Would a set of plates off an 05 fit a 00?

There diferent. One for 98-00, another for 01-03 (rsv mille) and up to 05 tuono, an then the new one also has diferent ones...

The reason I ask is because Ive bought a new ( old) shock off an early Tuono ( 2005) cos i9t had only done 100 miles and is mint. Slight problem in that the ride height adjuster is 1mm short at max adjustment of what it should be to fit my Y2K mille. This isnt too much of a problem cos I can push my forks thought a little more, but I was thinking how I could get around this without doing this and came up with a couple of options.
1. I could get some new plates made up at Spondon and raise the shock hole by 2mm.
This would allow me to reduce the ride height on the shock andf not have it at max

or
2. See if the Tuono donor plates would fit. The potential problem here is that the two holes for the engine and swing arm mounts would need to be exactly the same as my Mille.

Any ideas?

The 00 and beyond shock are diferent.

So if you want to use your new shock, you need newer linkage, so from a 01-03 mille or tuono up to 05.

The spring is a lot softer on the newer model shock than on the old one so its not just to make it fit :)

Get the apropriate linkage and your done

Ive changed the spring for the one off the old shock. Pushed the forks through another ring and test ridden it. Its peachy.
