Anyone know of any suspension set up peeps in the SW area?

Need some assistance........

Erm not Motosport Aprilia in Wareham ;)

Why not do the basics like sag yourself and then twiddle the adjusters until you get a setting that works for you.
Of course if you're looking for respring / revalve that would be different, I had some good info from maxton on that service might be worth dropping them a line.

I wouldnt use Mark Hammond ,pissed me about with my Husky suspension a few years ago,had to get a loacl guy to sort the rear shock in the end, also a mate spent nearly a grand on a custom set by them, fork seal lasted 5 minutes & when we went to change found the fork full of filings,
Get the standard stuff setup 1st,only go for a complete revalve when yor settings are outside the parameters the standard stuff can cope with,Ie extra weight or they need a rebuild anyway

Ps Griff will be down in Feb/Mar & he'll help set up your sussers or give him a ring at Aprilia performance

Hes a good guy

Certainly is. When I went to Motosport Aprilia in Wareham, the mechanic wandered out and compressed the arse and the front, sucked his teeth and pronounced both ends ******, at the very least forks and rear shock would have to come out for examination. Didn't believe him so took it to Steve.

Five minutes and a C spanner later we have a workable set up with both ends doing their job, will return to get it done more accurately.

Apparently I'm not the first refugee from Wareham to have ended up there.
