sump tank leak

just fixed one of the many problems with the bike now another problem!!!

2004 rsvr

leaking oil around the top of the dry sump tank! anyone else had this issue?

Its not unknown for the tanks to crack along the seams, or at the mounting brackets.

Two choices "chemical metal" or find a mate with a welder

I thought this was a common fault. Do a search for a fix matt.

yeh it looks like it's coming from the bracket....

Ditto..Fixed mine with Araldite, and still ok, though bought a spare tank (good old ebay) for if it goes again)
