Saw this on f/book.

It reads- how would I go about turning my 4 stroke 125 into a 2 stroke, does anyone know how to take strokes out of an engine.is a stroke some sort of restrictor :banghead

You've not met the wife , but yes, you'd think wind up, from a group called Hampshire bikers, someone had copied to an R1 group I'm a member of,
He also says " I've heard 2 strokes are faster"
 
Clocked it on facefud mucker,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,apart fae the obvious could it be done.

Was thinking along the same lines , I want to saw off one cylinder and have a 750 triple as triples seem to be all the rage at the mo ! any advice ????

Good idea and I would saw out one of the middle two cylinders as they tend to run hotter anyway :thumbup

Why not, all u need is a stroke subtraction wrench, simples :cheers

Got loads of wrenches,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so I take two away and I'm sorted or do I throw them all away barr two.

Take two away, leaving you with a 2 stroke, then sell the 2 strokes you've removed to someone with a triple, then they'll have 5 strokes & a happy wife :thumbup
 
You are all missing the point here If you have a 2 cylinder 4 stroke, then that's 2 strokes per cylinder, so just remove a spark from 1 cylinder and you have a 1 cylinder 2 stroke right? Easy.

I don't think the "stroke" is a restrictor more like an illness suffered by the original poster!!

Wouldn't you need a qualified electrician to remove a spark, &will the local waste recycling tip take unwanted sparks. Ours won't even take fridges.
