Stubby can conversion

How easy is it to chop down carbon cans to make them into stubby's :dunno Also does anyone on here make link pipes ? Thanks in advance :thumbup
 
its not too hard mainly a time thing have you got another can lined up
 
My brother and his father in law has done a few. Mainly akros but theyre basically put together the same. Drill the rivets of the cap and put that to one side. Get the stile saw and lop off as much as you want. Line up the end cap, drill the holes and some new rivetts and bobs your uncle.

My brother did the race inserts in my R1 cans and they were awesome.:thumbup

I've got the two carbon cans off the 05 RSVR I killed !! One is mint but the other has got some minor damage to the link pipe end. It would have to be the link pipe end that would need chopping on the damaged one. I've also got one link pipe for the can as well so I only need one making. Got my eyes on a set of Falco headers on Ebay so the only other thing I need is a near side hanger. Looks like we've something to do this winter Paul :devious
