Anyone out there racing a V4 had a hard time holding a line out of the corners? Maybe the bike feels a bit vague on turn in, feels real good mid corner and runs wide coming out of the turns?:dunno
Also thought I would ad a photo taken by Damien Toman from the Auckland Motorcycle Club Series at Hampton Downs:biggrin

Do the photos only come up as thumb nails now? Haven't posted here for a little while:dunno

OK, know one else has had the same problem, but I did find the cure & it is a technical one!

Don't worry too much guys just click on them and they enlarge.

Maybe the new owner of the site is saving some cash ..web space?

Oh Ok new owner, small thump nails. On the steering front the Aprilia factory settings for the steering head bearings for the RSV4 is 60nm of torque, which is rather excessive but does seem to make the bike very stable on the brakes and on turn in. The settings for the 01 02 RSV is 40nm and when you set the RSV4 bearings to 40nm it cures the lack of turn in feel and running wide out of the corners, easy fix but take a while to realise this is the problem:thumbup
