Stearing dampner

Hi everyone can’t find my stearing dampener on my 2002 rsv r Millie
Should there be one and does it matter if there isn’t anyone know cheers

An R should have an ohlins damper as standard so looks like someone has removed it

The standard Mille didnt have one but the fitment of Oz wheels on the R made the from lighter hence the damper
