starter button

hi folks - quick question, have any of you had/got dodgy starter button ??
symptoms = turn ignition on, fuel pump arms, hit start button - nothing !! :thumbdown
hit button again - then maybe again before bike turns over & starts :crazy

definetly not battery related, iam thinking along lines of probs with the button itself - any info much appreciated.

Hello mate , not had that problem on either of my Ts , give the kill switch a quick flick on and off just in case its that !

Yep got that and the t shirt

My rsv has those symptoms but its never been a big problem it always starts

How old is your battery? I ask because i put the old battery from the wifes tuono in my rsv last month and till yesterday i never had the problem again

Looks like your bike is a 08 if the battery is the original yuasa its time for a change anyway

It could also be a lazy starter motor

Looks like I peaked too soon ! I was there today, I now have been drinking too much to be sober at 9am so have a good ride & get those tyres scrubbed in . You know that if I turn up at the ride next week ,I will still be running the T in, so I cannot be accused of riding in a group:thumbup
