anyone got some going cheap?? need to try and see if its the weights making my hands knumb

I've got a set of standard ones off an 01 - they're a bit rusty (you can always paint 'em) so you can have 'em - PM me your address and I'll bung 'em in the post.
(I assume they'll fit a 2000 - unless anyone knows different?)

Are you sure it's not just a case of you hanging on too tight mate? (White knuckle ride syndrome)

Placing too much weight on your wrists can cause you to loose sensation in your hands, try using your torso to take the strain off your wrists and see if it makes a difference.

Poor fitting gloves can cause this too, had a set of gloves a few years back that had been poorly made and the stitching was a little tight across the knuckles and it caused poor circulation to me fingers, I used to get off the bike with a numb hand!

Oli I only get numb fingers when I'm taking it steady. Blasted down motorways and dual carriageways for 280 miles on Friday and finished with various aches and pains but no problem with my hands. If I'd have spent 15 minutes riding though town I would have.
