ok so 12 SS disk bolts cost £46+ from rsv.net or pro bolt or such like

my local tool factor does m8/20 A2 and A4 bolts for about 10/20p each.

granted they are not polished , but jeez even im not lazy enough to pay some one else £3.80 to polish the head

or am i missing something?????

i have also heard this ritch, he isnt picky either i have heard.

Kaiser, you need to make sure they are hardened mate

thought A2 - A4 was a specific quality hardend grade , dont they have to be a certain spec to be A2 A4 - probolt only quote A4 spec for there stainless stuff, thats slightly tougher than A2 but A2 is the marine spec stuff.

My local supplier does A4 they got it in for bikers originally and they a couple of the staff are bikers as well, which is how come i get 60% DISCOUNT. But even without discount its still less than a quater of what probolt are charging.

Anything to do with bike parts..Just quadruple the value..I try and get bits from other sources if possible and sometimes local engineering shops over the years..

Suspected as much anyone in the lancs area should check out kay supplies for stainless. Did virtually an entire zx9r for twenty odd quid and never had any problems
