Just washed bike and cleaned/lubed chain.

Is it my eyes or has the tyre become or started to become squared off?

Stupidly I didn't note exact mileage when I put it on, but it was last May and it's probably only about 2-3k.

What ya think?

2-3k on a rear tyre is good, im on my 3rd rear since june

I think 2 k out of a tyre is ****. I want over 5k which is why I go with mitchelin pilot road 3's. Good grip and last well. I don't ride motorways though and am blessed to live on curvy a roads

I think it looks worse than it actually is. Ran me hand over it following Bay's advice and it doesn't feel that bad at all. Going to go with it for now :yes

The reason it gone a bit square is probably the 40 miles I have to do on motorway/dual carriageways to get to Brecon before the twisties arrive :thumbdown

Have you noticed a difference when you ride it ? A new tyre will be better but do you really need one ?

No Trick but not quite at proper riding season yet.

Going to run with it for most of the summer I reckon :)

2 to 3000 miles and you still have knobblies on the sides !!! Maybe what i said about your tyres is true !!

Me too Br, last year I ended up 250miles fae home wae the wire starting to show and I still had a half day's riding wae garry and Nob to do.

I limped home on the m6 at 60, took me a while to get there.

Never again. :no

I hear ya aldo nothing worse than limping home with a big white stripe round your back tyre screaming "nick me"

Mate that tyre was feckin ugly when new and curvy

Now its worn like a thruppenyy bit it looks horrendy!

It's not that worn Welly!! Never was going to win any beauty prizes though I agree :yes
