Hiya People, I've just bought me some standard end cans ( the dark grey aprilia racing ones) but there all scratched. My plan is to core them out and respray them up. Do I need to use heat paint for the can or would I be ok with cellulose paint

Thanks for any help in advance
😃😜

Are they stainless or Ti?

Before painting, consider re-finnishing...most scratches will polish out with a good mop.

If you must paint them, then deffo high temp paint, have a look at Sperex, they make pretty good high temp paint.

Another alternative...look at CamCoat...they can do ceramic coating which will be harder, and much more durable than paint.

Paint is likely to scratch easily...and may well look crap after a few months hard use.

Just my opinion fwiw...good luck.

If You are going to Paint them Yourself using Heatproof Paint, give them a light Wet & Dry 1st so the Paint has a key & doesnt fall off.

Thanks people while your here anybody know anything about de coring standard end cans and if it's any good??
