spluttering between 4-6

Out on sunday and and a few occasions it sputtered abit between 4-6 after was normal and fine. I have 06 factory with mivv gp cans on and not sure of what map its on. Anyone have any ideas? and i have been running the higher octane fuel recently could that have anything do do with it.

First off, before you do anything, you need to establish which map variant you're running.

I've never heard of premium fuel causing problems (other than making a bigger hole in the wallet

no probs with decent fuel (its all I put in the V4)..but since peak torque on milles is about 7.5k rpm, me thinks you have either fueling issues or TB's that need balancing.
The system UCU should be able to cope with just cans, as oposed to a full system wher a remap does help, but lowers the fuel ecomnomy.
