riding today
rev counter was showing 9,000rm
when idling
and ther and ther abouts
stoppped engine then restarted and ok
anyone else experiense somet similar

not sure i understand that properly, was the needle showing 9000rpm and the bike sounding normal, at idle, or was it really stuck at 9000rpm making alot of noise...

make sure the throttle cable isnt sticking first, then check no loose connections anywhere around the throttle bodies or ecu

i know that adjusting the idle on newer shape bikes (like the one in your picture) has to be done electronically.. with an axone... at a dealers....

no soryy
sat night feeling
the rev counter was sticking at 9000rpm n above engine ran normally and at lower revs

ok now in english lol
when i was out yesterday, at some stage my rev counter was totally miss aligned to my engine speed, as i was coming down a steep hill with closed throttle the rev counter sat on 6000 revs
stopped the bike turned off engine and back on and everything was fie again
will watch out today to se if it happens again

hope not though as i've had my fair share of nigles with the bike already, but i just love it, best bike i've ever owned

been out today
no problems
just gonna get it on the axone though to check it over

did you check the wires going into the back of the dash unit are good connections?

is there water/moisture inside the dash unit?

have you checked all the fuses?
