speedo stopped working

Hi all,
i have a 2004 rsvr that i picked up on saturday and the speedo and stopped working. anyone else had the same problem? if so how did you go about fixing it?

Common issue,try cleaning the rear disc bolts as the sensor picks up a signal on them

Failing that trace the wither to check the connector

Check the fuse that feeds it

After that it's replacement..pretty sure a new rs125 is a straight swap and much cheaper
