Someone looked at my bike yesterday and told me the Speedo could be reading high because it may have had a kph Speedo with just a mph face plate, possibly fitted from new! It’s a 53 plate Cap 1000. Anybody shed any light on this?
He said he’d read on a forum that some bikes were kinda grey imports and people changed the faceplate but the bits in the Speedo head were still recording/reading kph! The Speedo reads consistently high at approx the mph/kph rate so it would explain the over read. It would also make my bike a 30000 machine
