Have a problem with my speedo randomly putting various speeds on display... Fitted a brand new oem speed sensor thinking this would sort out the problem but its still the same??? Does this mean the clocks are no good, everything else works great on clocks............Grrrrrr
If you've fitted a new sensor try cleaning the 6 (I think) bolts on the back wheel where the sensor picks up from.
Will try that before I go out in a half an hour... What happens then if still the same?

Speedo just about showing zero all the time... Cleaned bolts and it seemed ok for the first mile then started going mad again.... Dont have a workshop manual, but if someone tells me how to test it my Father is a sparky so he can check it out???

I had the same problem and used a haynes manual to check mine may be worth the 20 quid if it saves you having to buy new clocks!!!
