Speedo blues

My speedo top clear plastic has cracked yet again. (winter blues, -15C her in Slovenia).

I have successfully polished the crack out as it appears it doesn’t crack throughout the screen.

However the plastic is now thin and won’t polish again, I am on my last life.

Also I am having misting problems (moisture entering the speedo housing).

Anyone experienced this and has a permanent solution?

Managed to polish out the crack. I have also drilled three 2mm holes underneath the speedo (under LCD display). Venting seems to work thus far.

Then I decided to dress the inner speedo plastic in carbon. Race or what?
