Hi all and hope you are all enjoying the current cracking weather. I have a question which might not be in the right forum but Im sure someone will put me right.I need to buy some bits for my better halfs japanese rocket ( spits on floor ) and can only find them in China or the USA. Anyone have any experience of buying in the states and am I going to get stung for vat or whatnot. Didn't know who else to try asking so chocks away.
 
you may get stung at customs and the post office have a handling charge as well ..not always as some slip through the net

what bits are you after someone on here may know of a supplier closer

The bikes a car 600rr and the main bit I need is a radiator. Honda want £800 fitted which seems insane so I reckon a new one should only be £100 or so plus me cursing and swearing for half a day trying to get the ruddy fairing off her bike so I can fit it. Looked on M and P and flabby but no real luck so far.

Cheers for the research Redratbike. The best of the bunch seems expensive which is why I was thinking of having one shipped from the states. It may be that just biting the bullet and paying up is what we are going to have to do.
