My (newish) 2005 Factory still has the original Dragon Supercorsa's on it. Rear is now well worn, but front is good for a long while yet. Can't get DSC's now,:dunno, does anyone know if there is a Pirelli rear tyre that I could buy and use safely with the DSC front until I can change them both next year?

hey lewisman you can try the super corsa 2s if you can get it from your local shop our try e-bay.I have a dunlop rear and a pirelli on the front after I burnt off the metzlers I put the perillis and cook the rear and got a take off. the dunlop works great and it is not the frist time I had a missed matched pair. good luck and happy huntting.

Take a look on E-bay there are a few pirelli tyres on there, I have bought loads of scrubbed in tyres on there for my trackbike, and some are real bargains.

I had a dragon sc replaced by pirelli under warranty recently, so might be worth a call to their customer services, they were v helpfull when I spoke to them.

Thanks to you all for the rplies. I've used mismatched tyres before plenty of times back in the day of crossplies without any real problem, but not too sure nowadays with these radials. I'll give Pirelli a call, thanks for the info soltice, and see what they can do.
Regards

I to had that dilemma , great tyres but in the end i went for the pilot power on the back and still have the super corsa on the front ,both are fine wearin well

i've used pilot power 2ct and power one on the rf. i couldn't see any difference on the road (both have excellent grip) but on the track power ones are better. on the ape i've used 2ct's and now i will put a set of sc2's out of curiosity.

seems people can mix tyres on these RSV's and be OK...good to know if you are stuck somewhere.
Telephoned Pirelli and they recommended me a Dragon Supercorsa Pro rear to go with the old DSC front, but wouldn't recommend any other Pirelli.
One's on its way!
Thanks for the replys everyone
