Gonna change the rear suspension link back to standard, as it has a 1" lowering kit fitted at present. My dumb question is, am I going to need an Abba type stand to get the link off? Or is there a way of removing the rear link without taking all the weight off the back wheel?
Cheers folks

On my old gixxer i used ratchet straps
Put them over the garage roof surpports and sum where strong on the bike!!

Pass a metal rod of appropriate dia thru the swinger spindle and support each side on axle stands....then remove the wheel etc. As you come to remove the links ( they are arrowed so you cant go wrong), take the weight of the swinger in your hand - " Lift & separate "...! It is better this way as you will be able manipulate the swinger rather than having it tied up. This will help when extracting the bolts & when putting them back.

Cheers lads, top answers give yourselves 10 points. Now, for a bonus 10 points; whats the correct torque setting for the bolts on the triangle link thingy?

Also watch the roller bearings when you extract the bolts on the linkage. Place a sheet of newspaper below to catch any rollers that could/will fall out when you remove the bolts. Easy enough to grease them up and refit, can be a bit of a pain if a few fall out.
