Some People just dont help

I know he shouldn't ride that fast with his boy on back but if he was a foot ball player they slap him on the wrist and a fine:jack

6 months is a joke, sorry i dont agree with the sentence,ok the guy has taken a risk and got caught, yes it could of ended real badly but it didnt. what might the effect now be on the bloke and his family, now that he has been banged up for six months,in prison with real criminals who did leave a victim in their wake.publicly humiliated, lost his job, lost his license for 18 months.could lose his arse virginity.take the bike and license off people, that would stop most from speeding at least as long as they are banned for.do you think that this man is more or less likely to committe another crime when he comes out of jail? without a job i might add.i have recently been pulled for speeding,106 mph,, yep i know,i got ban coming, got pulled by unmarked mercedes,i was on duel carridge way, road was empty one or two cars on the road dry conditions, just done the spragg clutch on the bike so i was keen to check everything was ok,i had gasket issue on first run out which didnt show reving it in the workshop,so i wanted to put the engine under good pressure by giving it a little extra, now im gonna pay for that error with my job and licence and a large fine,or maybe i should get banged up with him.would that help

A copper (law enforcement officer) friend of a friend got caught doing 122mph on his bike............he received 3 points and a slap on the wrist !!!.

Its nice to know that we have a balanced and fair legal system

We all know the rules and what we expose ourselves if we speed. Especially in this country where we bikers know police and antibikers lobbies are waiting the minimum opportunity to picture us as maniacs with no respect for your own life or others, in this case the life of your very own son. In the TV report, a policeman talked about what could have happened if...and at some point he Said "Had He carried a precious cargo i/o his own son, He would have been more careful" :jack :jack:jack

Don't worry about that bloke - when he comes out of nick he's got a MotoGP ride waiting. I mean, a single carriageway road, two up on a 'Busa, and he doesn't even brake for that corner, not only that, he hardly has to lean it over, at 122mph.
Is he doing 122 in that video? Is he ****. But he probably was doing a fair speed somewhere along the way and he couldn't remember specifically how fast he was going at that point - up to six months later - so he didn't fight it. And the way that video camera crosshair was wiggling around, I ask you. Do you really think that was an accurate reading?

Ain't the british legal system great, No, Motorists who kill bikers get less than he got.

as for footballers and other coppers, they are a law upon themselves, we all know that.

Davos69, i wish you good luck with your case, my mate got caught slowing down at 130mph, he got 3 points and a 28 day ban, and no prison time.

Always pay to seek the best legal advice in these situations.........They have alot more experience and know all the ways out.

With all threads their should be healthy debate giving the pro and cons on both sides of the argument. After all there are two sides 2 every story arn't there?

So lets consider who the real victims are.

On the one side there is the police. I'm sure they had no pleasure nicking the poor sod and the shaky camera footage is probably because they were just pissing themselves with laughter knowing what they would do to him when they stopped him.

Maybe it was the lad on the back. No, I'm sure that can't be right. When I take my kid on the back of my machine she is grinning from ear to ear when she gets off. "better than the best roller coaster" she says. He can now walk tall in the playground knowing that his old man is banged up. Total respect.

What about the other motorists on that fateful day who saw a scary bike shoot past them. Yes, I can see these people must have been truly scared to death (all 4 of them) as there masculinity was stripped from them as that bike flew past.

No. the true victim was the biker. Whether the on coming rain was the true reason he twisted the throttle or he just wanted to impress his lad he is the only person who is going to suffer. And that's just not right.

Still on the plus side there might be a cheap Hayabusa on ebay in the next few weeks....
