Took a wee vid of a New Year's Eve ride up Angeles Crest Hwy with the Socal Norton Owners Club. Cool bunch of fellas. They don't mind if you don't ride a Norton (my buddy who is a member has a fantastic 74 Commando). Just run what ya brung. There were a ton of vintage bikes, a 1948 Matchless, Old and new Triumphs, Guzzis etc, plus a few newer Ducati's and BMWs. A gal had one of those new R Nine Ts. Really like that bike. :thumbup

Canny turn out and assortment of bikes there. Some sound nice.
I do like the 9RT, could fancy one myself.
 
Dang, I'd tag along on a ride like that just to drool over the other bikes. I do love Nortons....
 
We had a "storm" blow through yesterday. Here's the same restaurant we rode to on NYE today! (Newcomb's Ranch, Angeles Crest Hwy).
