Hi all, I have just booked up for the day at Snetterton on March 21st mainly because it is my home track and one I know well from my days racing.
I haven't been on the track for 8 years or so and a couple of my mates were doing it all last year so I thought I would see if the old Mojo is still there.
They are on a Triumph 955i and a sorted ZX6R both with about 138bhp.
So I reckon I will be down on power but from what I have found so far with the old girl she makes up for it with the power delivery.
Oh my old girl is an 02 factory on an 03 plate, standard apart from rear sets and can.
I don't expect to be fast straight away as I want to learn how the bike feels when pushed hard and then as the day progresses see if the Mojo takes over and I can attempt to ride in formation and occasionally take turns at leading with the other two :devious:devious
To be honest I don't really care how fast I go as it is more about getting back out on track and seeing if the feeling is still there as the last time I raced following a big crash a year I still hadn't got the mojo back and I quit rather than put anyone else in danger of me being only at 90%.
On one hand I want to find it is back but on the other I know if it is then I will want to be back out and with the little one that isn't an option :dunno:dunno
If any of you are out that day give me a shout :thumbup:thumbup
