Smoke Oil Issue

Hi,
New here so hopefully I haven't missed these issues already discussed.
I have just bought a 2014 model which was a demo but only with 250km's on the dial. First ride to test was OK and so I bought the machine. I noticed when I got home that the mapping was for rain so changed to Touring, now at lower speeds the bike seems to surge and drop back which seems to be quite a common Caponord issue from what I've read from other discussions on the web. I noticed around the 600KM's that the oil level on the stand was below the bottom oil marks so after ringing the dealer I topped it up. Now around 800KM's when I start from cold it blows blue from the exhaust for a second or two and then clears. Not too happy about this development and now at 1300KM's oil is starting to weep out around the crankcase and you smell the oil after a run.
I've run a few engines in so don't believe I have caused the any of the problems although I rode it a bit harder before the oil showed up so maybe its an oil pressure thing.
I've had a few brand new and secondhand bikes and this is the first time I've struck this type of problem. The dealer and mechanic say don't worry about the smoke yet, that was at the first service. I recently emailed them pictures of the oil leak and they haven't replied back to me yet. Most likely I'll have to ring but I'd like some feed back about whether others have had this issue and how it was fixed or whether the bike may have a serious mechanical problem developing.
Here's a link http://www.evernote.com/l/AUGnsk4ejWtBBKsvqAlDqsvqP_VZnmN6Rvs/ to the pictures and most likely I'll update the post with a link to a video showing the smoke. Any feedback gratefully appreciated.

Cheers Dave

There was a 'recall' on some bikes to do a modification to the oil breather system so I would ask the dealer if that has been done. Sounds like a likely cause.

Thanks for the reply, at the dealers now, the oil leaking is a rubber grommet we think. Jury still out on the smoke, will pass on the recall info though.

Cheers Dave
