Just had a smidsy this morning and basiclly my bikes a write off (crack in the frame) sad times has anyone seen any standard Milles about 2000 with about 20k ish on the clock for sale? ive now got to start doing battle with insurance company so need as much evidence as possible to get as much money as i can.

Got a frame, with V5 here and MOT until next May/June, from a 2000 RSV-R that is ready to go if you want to re-build the bike rather than go down the insurance route.

Totally kosher as it's from my own bike that I broke in the summer and have owned for the last 3 years.

I could even deliver it to you as I work in Grimsby ;-)

Ill have to see what happens insurance wise. Need to keep it going i get all my textiles and helmet paid for (headbutted the back of his car and did a flip slide which i dont think id be able to do again) all my gears torn up and scuffed but i got away with some bruising and time off work so far
 
Only under contents insurance if it was damaged as the result of an insured peril under the policy wording and no exclusions are applicable.

Quite unlikely mate unfortunately but it could be worth a call.. depends on your specific policy wording..

My insurance policy has helmet and leathers cover. But looks like it's being sorted by insurance solicitors
 
I crashed on a track day at Cadwell Park a few years ago and claimed for all my kit on my house insurance no bother.
 
Still not seen a penny want to get a new mille lousy insurance company taking sweet time
 
Sorry to hear that mate. Ring them up and keep pestering.. EVERYDAY. Just remember you pay for the service..
 
Sorry to hear about all that, glad your OK though.. that's the most important bit..

Lots of Mille's about at the moment.. I'm certain you will find something really nice.

If you do go down the new frame route, i can sell you all my Mille bits in my link below, would price as a job lot and make it much cheaper.
Could also create an invoice for your insurance Co. if that helps too.

Either way, i hope you get back on a bike soon
