Slipper clutch???

I thought the T gen 2 had an Aprilia version of one? I managed to lock my wheel up for a bit.
Pretty sure all the 1000cc V-Twins have them.AFAIK,it works pnuematically and slightly opens the clutch as you go down the 'box.I read somewhere that it does'nt work if you blip the throttle while changing down.

Hi SUPERSTARDJO just taken this from Aprilia description -Aprilia’s patented PPC (Pneumatic Power Clutch) hydraulically operated, power assisted clutch system for controlling rear wheel bounce under deceleration
Like what shotgun said not back brake!!!

Must say I blip, doing Cadwell the other day I had no rear lock issues at all bit squirilly, but feel was good and never really got out of shape, on my old Superduke the rear would be all over the shop till I fitted a slipper.

Bottom line im impressed for moderate use what the OEM clutch can handle. I cant see why it would not work whe you blip though.

I did change from 5th to 2nd by the time it got to 2nd gear I was still doing about 70mph and only locked for about a second or 2 and never squirmed.
