Sliders?!?!?

Can i ask, do sliders really do anything on a tuono??

I can understand that the engine mounted slider protects the frame and engine casings, but i cant see the front fork and rear swing arm slider doing anything, by the time the bike is down, as i experienced on my VMax the steering whips round and the bars buckle, on the T the exhausts will get the brunt of a slide before any rear arm slider hits the deck.

The engine protector on the vmax saved the frame and engine as i am sure an R&G would on the T. My problem is that you have to carve the oil and water cover up to fit item......

Any comments......experience.......Thank you.

You can do a lot of damage on a naked bike,...even if it just falls off the stand. The gear lever can dig into the frame causing a potential write off.One of the lads on the other channel had a 70mph crash in the wet.I think he got a scuffed exhaust can and a bent brake lever, but the bike was perfectly ridable thanks to R&G sliders.
Ive got upper and lower frame bungs as well as the spindle sliders.

Front fork sliders will stop the lower fork stanchions getting scratched in a crash. If you sold your bike later on and someone see's the scratched fork stanchions they will know it's been up the road.
