can anyone give me any gearing advice for silverstone gp track , going on trackday on monday . thanks.
 
i used 16/44 there last year
seemed ok for me but only got to lunch before i come off
 
bad luck mate , hope i can manage to stay on . i'll try your gearing , see wot happens cos it looks like a fast track.

i just got sucked in to playing with a zx10r, caught me peg and lifted the rear
 
16/44 should be ok, but if your megga quick, you may run out of revs on the straight. If thats the case, take a 42 sprocket as well, so you can change it at the track. You wont need to change the length of the chain.
 
yeah i think i'll take my 42 ,bin used to running 15/45 & 15/44 for cadwell & donnington , should be a bit faster at silverstone .
