Hi All, is there a list of side stands that deffo fit and are better than the standad item. To be honest I think a banana with a suitable bolt would be better than stock!!
cheers
Shaun

US / Canada Aprilia one is so much better than the UK one, you could keep your eyes open for one of those on ebay or one of the forums.

Managed to get a good un (inc bracket / spring / switch and part of the loom) for £40 delivered - best £40 ive spent on me T....... so far...

At least next time i get a puncture it wont fall over !

If you know anyone that can make one for you, you can borrow it to make a "template" ?

Borrow yours ?
I think they are a bit straighter, might be able to fettle it. Thanks for the offer though, I'll keep it in mind.

I've got one for Liz's bike, but the bit you flip it doon with has snapped off, do I need the stand, have the bracket. :)

Bit of Jockonese going on there Bats, does that mean you've got a bracket for me ???

i,ve got a gixxer thou stand, and its great....

for putting owd paint tin lids back on..

04 - 06 CBR1000RR fit straight on. Not cutting or anything and works perfect with the switch as well.

I bought one of those bubseywoo ones and it didn't fit properly, the retaining spring wouldn't stretch that far. I've still got the stand but have moved the Tuono on. If anyone wants the stand they can have it for nowt, it's just more bike clutter in my garage.

Cheers, Paul

So people say, but they aren't easy to find, and the US stands do come up on Ebay.com, and even with shipping are only about £40 if you sell the old one on.

Just remember if you buy the US stand you need the mounting plate as well, the angle is different
