Hi
Just bought myself a 2003 RSV Mille (Although I think its a 2002 model, if theres any difference, its all pretty confusing to be honest).
The side stand makes the bike horrifically horizontal, My Daytona has managed to fall over twice in the wind so I'm not holding my breath on this one keeping upright. I've read a bit about people using the US stand on their bikes, but I cant tell whether that's for the 2004+ version (is that a generation 2?) or these ones as well.
This one seems to be one off of a US '02 bike which looks straight, so Im guessing its the '04+ bike which has the kink in the stand? 1999 2000 99 00 Aprilia RSV1000 RSV 1000 Mille Side Kickstand Kick Stand | eBay
Any idea if this US version of the stand helps lean the bike over more, or is it just the newer bikes with the bend in the stand that people switch round? Ive also read about using a blade sidestand but again Im not sure if that just refers to the newer RSV's.
If all thats confusing ha, then, in summary, what are my options
Thanks
