A gen 2 stand bolts straight onto a gen 1 so I would guess that it also works the other way around.
UK ape stands are ***** ( i gave mine away to a gen 1 owner - his had bent - they are made of cheese)... if you are gonna change it, maybe better off looking at the other /better options...

Says it's a genuine aprilia part, doesn't look beefy enough for a USA one...
It's not just the length of the stand that is the issue, it's that angle that it kicks out - a longer stand at the same angle would make it more upright / unstable...
Mite be worth asking the seller some questions before you buy.

First off I'm a newbie so hello all. Recently bought my first Tuono and it too is a 2008 model. I just fitted a side stand off a (sorry) fireblade, perfect fit, retains the original switch so no faffing with wiring. It's a tad longer and angles out a little more at the foot. Bike is a lot more stable.

If anyone has a spare Gen1 side stand switch they want to get rid of, and in v-good condition, please PM me, thanks.
- Prob should post this on classifieds, just that it fitted the theme here, perchance anyone swapped out the old stand and switch, etc.

Did the same - bought and fitted a fireblade sidestand. From an 04-06 model, just need the stand, not the mounting plate, work's a charm and I'm now happy to stand her most places and not fear coming back finding her on her side! Mine is a gen 2 '07.
