hi, i'm wondering if anybody knows what the oil level on a 2000.5 mille showa fork? i haven't found it anywhere. the manual only says 520 cubic centimeters...

i'd guess it's the same fork. it sure does like the same fork in the pictures...excapt for the brake caliper mountings at least...

I find 520 cc is too much - not enough air gap. I put 500cc in mine and use all of the travel bar 10mm. This is proved by my onboard telemetry. (a zip tie on the leg)

Oil capacity 520 ml +/- 25ml
Oil level 118 mm +/- 2 mm from slider edge

SO yes you can put in 500 ml

thanks a lot! i've put ohlins oil in my forks, changed the internals and woo-hoo! great street setup! :D

i bought them from the af1 store. actually they were a present from a friend. anyway, haven't had the time to ride the bike too much, aproximately 20 kms, haven't had the time to work out the compression and rebound just yet but from what i've felt it feels better than the old setup :)
