Showa fork rebound dots

B

BB1000

After putting new oil in and setting the air gap Exactly the same on each fork, i noticed on one fork when wound in fully that the dots are slightly different to the other fork....as in...one dot lines up with the outer rebound dot and on the other fork it dont .....this is before un screwing to get the correct settings :confused

Is this something to worry about or do i just line them up with the dots on the outer rebound mark as before :confused

I've always done it by matching the rotation because i've had the same thing on various forks.

As long as both fork adjusters are wound out the same amount i don't think it matters about the markers.

dont worry about the dot

just lightly seat both legs then wind them out the same amount.

i guess in the ideal world they would line up nicely, but i've never known any of my bikes ever lining up
