does anyone know the rear shock length eye to eye of the ohlins for a 2001/2 bike

shock length is variable as it has 10mm of thread length to adjust ride height, what are you trying to do mate?
the lower mount has snapped of the ohlins shock at the start of the threads i have took the shock off but was going to make a metal bar to put in its place to hold the back up .i was going to put an R1 shock in its 300mm but the gas can gets in the way . are the sachs shocks lower mount the same thread as there is one on the bay and i thought i could use the lower mount and screw it in to the ohlins bit
Why don'tyou phone K-Teck or Kais who are Ohlins specialists, they may well have an old shock that might have the part you need, that would be my first port of call.
