Shiny...

Mmmmm, shiny Titanium and carbon bling :)

Put a pair of Remus hexacone Ti with carbon caps cans on yesterday. Sweeeeet :inlove They sound soo lurvely burbling at tickover and popping on overrun into villages :D

I did push the bike to the end of the drive before starting it this morning, just in case as I quite like our neighbours :)

Just out of interest, they were blowing a bit where the new link pipe goes into the existing pipe from the headers. As the original didn't have any sealing compund do you think I should put some on the new ones? I had a look/feel when I got to work and it wasn't doing it anymore, I assume expansion of the bits has sealed them, but will they stay sealed?

And yes, I know this thread may be worthless without pictures, but I haven't got any, so tough :)

They sound nice - from your description.

It wouldn't do any harm to seal the joint if it blows a bit when cold. I always use a tip I received a long time ago, clear silicon sealer, as per plumbers use in bathrooms. Very cheap and just peels away when you need to break the seal.

Pictures :)

So that this post isn't worthless, here are some pics :) Took the baffles out at lunchtime for the ride home, sounds even more lovely, but dang loud! Pops and burbles beautifully :)

**** Si, all them unbaffled exhaust gases have blown the numbers off your license plate !!!!

Oh Bum!!! Good thing I didn't pass any police-type people on the way home :)

Do you ride it then, last time I saw a bike that clean Heroblob was riding it? LOL

Only kidding mate, love the look of those exhausts - got any sound files from them?

I can't think of anything to say to that, it probably gets maybe 300 miles a week, so no, I suppose I don't really ride it... :nana

Remus Hexacone if you're interested.... :) No sound yet, they only went on yesterday, and I haven't got anything to record them with, at least, not and do them justice.
