Whay is there a shift light onthe RSV and does it matter where it is? Mine is set to 9500 rpm, and I've only seen it on once, is it important or just something that's useful for a track session?
you can set it to whatever RPM you like - when brand new the factory setting is quite low - possibly to remind you not to cane it when running it in!! Doesnt have any effect on the running of the bike though.
Check the instructions in the file vault - it'll re-set everytime you disconnect the battery anyway. Set it where you like as it doesn't make any difference.
