Newbie here so be nice ;-)

Stumbled across someone selling a 2003 mille with low mileage and good condition for what i think is reasonable and i know this is a mille forum but would like your opinions etc

Tbh, am not a sportsbike rider, generally more of a sedate adventure bike boy but have time constraints and budget constraints now but still want two wheels

Had a 749 years ago, loved it but was too severe on normal roads and normal speeds, had a 748 that i rode once, could have stared at it for days but so uncomfortable just wasnt possible

As i said, bmw gsa previously, never ridden something so easy but currently out of price range etc etc

So, should i take the plunge? Somebody give me some advice ;-)

Cheers

I have a 2000, very aggressive ride...but of all the bikes I've had, the most comfortable. No back aches, wrists are fine, and no numb bum.

The bike is a blast to ride...but in the end, it's how you feel about it. You could always buy clip ons with adjustable heights, or the fixed ones with a 1, 2, or 3 inch rise to them. Hope this helps.

Noooooooooo! run, run for your life :fire
Not much changed round here :bigfinger Its still the same topics from when i used to haunt the forum.

if its not been modified they are quite sweet to ride , fast but a bit placid , if its been modified (properly) then its a different beast
they are very comfy and make you grin like an altzhimers sufferer tho

^ what he said...i purchased mine about 2 months ago, and still have that "first time i got to play with ****ies" grin...even in the rain.

Go for it ! You won't be disappointed. Had mine a few months now & wish i'd done it years ago.
