I've got a fault code of -1 wich as far as I know is tps. I don't know if this is right but I'd like to check the tps anyhoos, only ting is I can't find any post or write ups that give the knowledge on this so any help in pointing me in the right direction would be just dandy

Yep your tps is set at -1 it should 0 so loosen the bolts holding it and rotate it a very small amount till you get 0

cheers for that but wot dya mean all the way off, wouldn't you just set the idle for about 12/1300rpm for a decent tick over first off to keep it running ok!

when adjusting the tps the bike should'nt be running ,plug the diag wires in so you get the tps setting you should wind the idle off so the butterflys in the throttle bodys are completly closed, once you've adjusted the tps to 0 bring your idle up to normal rpm job done, hope this helps:thumbup

STOP

Before you do anything, wind the idle adjuster right out and check the diag again. It could be that when the TPS is set to 0 with the idle wound out, it reaDS -1 once the idle is re set!!!!!:eatcorn

gotya. Cheers fer that info. It's just when doing the tps on the tls you would do it on tick over at one line on the dash and then it should change to another line when revved to 1500rpm
