My factory is showing the service indicator on the dash when I start it up and keeps coming on to advise a service is due but it has recently been done (got receipts from previous owner after recently collecting bike). I am presuming that the dealer who serviced it hasn't bothered to reset it. Does anyone know how I can reset it or do I have to go to a dealer to have it done?
By the way, my first mod was to get a new stand for it. CBR1000RR 05 stand, fitted straight on with no need for any fiddling about, now feel confident it will still be upright when I leave it. I have ordered some black resorvoir caps from Mark on RSVzone, should be here Monday. Now looking at changing the levers to stubby ones (considering Titax), fitting a tail tidy and replacing the barn door with a show plate and eventually fitting some Aprilia performance rear sets. Will post some pics when mods done.
